Description of Monospace - Writing and Notes

Monospace is a minimal notes and writing app, built from the ground up with a designed-for-touch UI.
It get's rid of the standard editing features you'd find in standard writing and notes apps and replaces them with a modern-styled, essentials-only formatting popup.
Monospace Writer supports Bold, Italics, Strikethrough, Bullet, Quote and a bunch of size related formatting styles.
Monospace has built in internal sync (Pro package only) that lets you keep all your devices on the latest version's of your notes, and let's you edit anywhere.
Monospace Writer's hashtags feature replace the classic folder system. Simply add hashtags (which can be nested) to the last line of a file and Monospace will take care of the file/folder organisation for you.
Monospace Writer allows for exporting via Markdown, meaning it has copy and paste support for a huge amount of services, including Wordpress and Tumblr.

  Writing this review hoping someday the developer would see it bc he just completely disappeared out of nowhere TT my experience with the app... long story short, my phone died, no choice but to reprogram, reinstalled the app hoping my files are still there...its not. Everythings wiped out. Tried contacting the developer but hes just gone man. im so upset bc idk how to retrieve my months of hardwork again pls mr developer if ur reading this help me TT______TT i have many comics yet to write..

  I was getting annoyed with writing. The varied widths of modern proportional text characters kept distracting me. What a welcome find this app was, which cavalierly turns its back on 40 years of progress and makes you use a monospace font for everything! Ah—the joys of adding an extra space after each sentence, spending twice as much time scrolling, and pretending you're a hard-boiled detective typing up reports for mysterious clients, smokes and whisky at hand… Who needs an actual life? Not I!

  I just installed this app and I cannot find a way to open an existing text file placed in my phone's internal storage via the USB cable. That seems like a rather basic expectation. This app is ju not what I am looking for.

  My go to writing app for phone! Why? Because it's the only one I've found so far that will not lag at 20k+ words in one document. All others will lag to the point theyre unuseable, which is a problem if you, like me, write stories on your phone. There are minor issues such as the loading circle occasionally getting stuck, and drive not working, and of course no more updates from dev (i assume considering last update being 2016), and yet I love this app a lot!

  I use your monospaced text editor app and I made a Figlet font in 1-5 minutes, I really finished and I navigate away, come back, my Figlet font is completely messed up! Where can I fix this?

  This app is beautiful! I won't use anything else, because nothing is minimal enough. Unfortunately, this app hasn't been maintained for several years and there are some frustrating bugs such as Google Drive sync not working, formatting issues, and scrolling to the top of the list after backing out of an item. I hope to do a rewrite of this app someday, because I love it so much.
