  Does exactly what I want - it can show png photos with transparent background! This means that homeimage is not obstructed by displayed picture's frame. It perfectly satisfies my usecase - using homescreen as a daily reminder using icons (Representing workout, meditation e.g) that do not ruin the looks of homescreen image.

  I like how the widget looks and how it is formatted, but it often shows the logo instead of the selected picture after the phone is shut off.

  Four stars! Free, and no ads. It may have an occasional crash when first selecting a photo, but other than that, it works fine therafter. I'm quite happy with it. Thanks!
