Description of SMS Backup

Automatically backup your SMS, MMS and call history with a separate label in Gmail and Google Calendar.
Later you can restore the saved data (except MMS) back to the phone, especially useful when switching to a new device.
IMAP access needs to be manually enabled in Gmail, see the website and FAQ for more information. You can of course use your own IMAP server for backups, giving you full control over your data.
SMS Backup is a free open-source project which has been in active development since the early days of Android, completely ad and tracking-free, supported through voluntary donations.

  Thanks for the good times. I haven't backed anything up since mid 2019. I hear there are workarounds, but I haven't bothered. I'm about to uninstall, but still, thanks for the years of use I got out of this app.

  I'm using this App from last 5years working good. But unfortunately from last few years it's not working properly and i'm trying in all the ways that you noted in website but that cant workout always getting the same error that IMAP or Could not get the token from System. Do you want to try the browser Authentication Method Can you help me in this.... Thanks in advance...
