Description of Samsung Family Hub

The Samsung Family Hub app now works only on Family Hub refrigerators with TIZEN 4.0 Software version and below.
For Samsung Family Hub refrigerators that operate on TIZEN 6.0 Software version and above, the Family Hub app will no longer be supported. Please download and use the SmartThings app instead.
- Features like uploading pictures and videos can be found within the Family Hub device plugin
- Food related features like View Inside, Recipe recommendations, Meal Planner, Shopping List, and Food List can be found within the SmartThings Cooking Service Plugin
(The Software version can be found on your Family Hub from Settings > About Family Hub> Software version > TIZEN 6.0)
The following permissions are required for the app service. For optional permissions, the default functionality of the service is turned on, but not allowed.
[Required Access Permission]
- Contacts: Registered Samsung Account information will be used to provide services that require account linking
[Optional Access Permission]
- Microphone: Needed to record voice for Memo and Whiteboard
- Storage: Required to provide cloud-connected features for sharing photos and videos

  This app keeps crashing it wont let me look in my fridge on the cameras everytime i try to do anything it just crashes and closes the app its really starting to make me mad.

  Love Family Hub! I really like that I can add to my grocery list on the fridge and it automatically sinks with my phone. I can access recipes & internet upload my pictures, play music and watch tv through it. Simply awesome! The only drawback is if I don't use the icemaker daily, it ices up and I have to pull the icemaker out and chip away the ice and put it back in. A lot of people have this problem. It is the only design flaw as far as I'm concerned.

  I like the phone connection. I really dislike that every time you add/remove/delete an item it goes to the top of the list. I do all the dairy or other categories at once. Extremely time consuming!!! We use the app to save time and organization. This defeats the purpose. What is with the 150 item warning also? Overall I really like the app but after a while it will irritate me enough and I will move on. I also use this app for other shopping lists like Home Depot and other stores. Works ok.
