Description of Sea Maps Free

Sea Maps provides the ability to view nautical information as a layer on top of maps. The app supports normal map viewing along with the option to automatically center and follow your location. For more information on the underlying project and the map coverage visit the openseamap.org website.
This is the free version of the Sea Maps app, showing ads on the main screen. The paid version without ads is also available in the Play Store.

  missing most important feature It seems to have accidentally given me a premium account and unlocked all the features so I was able to test it quite a bit. It checks bridge height, but it has no depth. You can set your draught to seven meters and it will route you right over sand bars (that you can't see in this app, you need another map that shows them). It also doesn't follow sea lanes or avoid cardinal signs. Everything else seems to work perfectly but without depth it is a useless sea map.

  Nothing special. Some nautical osm data over google maps. Even not openseamap tiles.
