An hour lives for an hour, then it dies. It's up to each of us to spend our time well and to have no regrets when we bid farewell to each of our hours. When all of our hours have died, so will we. It's up to each of us to come to terms with this fact. The only thing we can do is make sure that our hours and us live meaningfully before we die. (I promise this gets less depressing).
This probably just comes across as morbid, but there's a reason it's called the Clock of Life and not the Clock of Death. It's not just another death timer. The philosophy of this app is simple: nothing is more uplifting and life-affirming than waking up every morning, knowing that we are using the only life we'll ever get to the fullest.
