Greed over functionality. Nearly unusable with the recent update trying to push to monetize. The map is locked unless you have subscribed. Time to look for alternatives.

Not very nice to find out in the middle of the trail when you want to use the map that it has gone paid. You make a free version (Maybe ad supported) and charge for premium features. You don't simply remove access when convenient. Making free features paid...nope, thanks!

Hello Team, im a MTB beginner in my 60's though travel across NZ. After leaving my home area I found that all of a sudden I was asked for a PRO upgrade and wasn't able to use TF during visiting other areas. As a beginner I found this rather harsh as I have a friend( near to a pro) using it widely without being nagged to upgrade. As such I'm very disapointed with TF.: Edit after TF reply. Not correct. Could it be that people with public uploads can use the app for free and you charge others?

My local region has changed on me now I can not see my local trails. Trailforks is now useless. I have also tried to upload trails and they get rejected for someone far away, who knows nothing about my local riding area. OSM accepts my trail submissions. Whats happening to this once great app?

Best app I've found for MTB trails info... It's only as good as the users that contribute to it, and the recently discounted lifetime price to go Pro was a deal!! ***Maybe they should dangle that carrot out there again to entice all those 1-star reviewers... Really is a good app for when you need local perspective on a new place :-)

Always used the app for the map as the remaining features never really worked. App would often crash. Saw pro mode and thought, "finally things will work" But that's a big no. Nothing has changed. Still the same app but now paid. It's nice for them to offer the discount but make the rest of the features work and more useful if you are going to begin charging for it. Developers must be looking for extra covid income...
