This is a Public Beta of the Xbox Game Pass app that provides and early peek at new capabilities. Use the feedback button in the app or shake your phone to let us know what you think.
XBOX GAME PASS BETA AGREEMENT
The following terms supplement any software license terms that accompany the Xbox Game Pass App beta.
MICROSOFT SERVICES AGREEMENT. You acknowledge that you have previously agreed to the Microsoft Services Agreement. The Microsoft Services Agreement apply to your use of the Xbox Game Pass App beta.
FEEDBACK. If you give feedback about the Xbox Game Pass App beta to Microsoft, you give to Microsoft, without charge, the right to use, share and commercialize your feedback in any way and for any purpose. You also give to third parties, without charge, any patent rights needed for their products, technologies and services to use or interface with any specific parts of a Microsoft software or service that includes the feedback. You will not give feedback that is subject to a license that requires Microsoft to license its software or documentation to third parties because we include your feedback in them. These rights survive this agreement.

  Connection issues like crazy. I am on 5g internet on my galaxy note 8 with high upload/download speeds. However when I boot up a game the in game bars tell me I have no internet and the games are low res with crazy input lag. I would love to rate higher but I just physically cant play a game.. pls tell me this isn't just me or am I having some strange issues idk about. Will gladly update this once i get it situated though.

  Neat service, when it works. Great for casual games, but input latency makes competitive or hard games frustrating. You need a very strong 5g signal to play with no issues. Also, you need to have your controller within a few inches of your phone/tablet to have your inputs even register reliably, if connected via bluetooth. The tech and infrastructure has a long way to go, but it really is cool to play graphically intensive games on a cheap $150 tablet.

  Works great on my old Galaxy Tab S3, though since the last update it crashes now and again when starting a game, but never during gameplay. The only gripe I have is with the perks, it should work right from the app. Having to copy a code then paste it on the PC? I'm already signed in, just sanity check if I'm eligible then add it to my account if I click on redeem.

  Very good! Obviously the latency is visible but this is expected when it comes to streaming. Some games obviously don't work well, like Gears of War because it feels sluggish. Or even Yakuza 0/Kiwami-Kiwami 2 when doing QTE's/Karaoke Other than that it's a good service. Well done, Xbox!

  UPDATE: Since last update, # of cloud titles has exploded--all work on Shield. PRIOR: For a beta, pretty good. Sideloaded onto Nvidia Shield, the 2 main problems are the menu interface is buggy, and some game controls don't map correctly to the Shield controller. Very little latency on all games, but some are very downsampled. Others look great. Also, Android TV won't mount the icon in the apps menu (must go to settings:apps). A little more buggy than sideloaded Stadia, but with larger library.

  Only three out of five because there IS NO VIRTUAL CONTROLLER available WHY!? I'm not always able to play games on my phone with clip controller so I can't play them at all, its annoying, please give this option in next update, and this app will be worth 5 of 5 in my eyes, despite that this app is great, playing games on tablet phone or laptop without console is awesome, I've been waiting for that for sooooo looong.
