About Sabha: Yogakshemasabha is the organisation of Namboodiri Brahmins of Kerala origin. First founded in 1908, by farsighted men of great virtues, the sabha acted as an active catalyst to the social reformation of Kerala society. At a time when the life of an average Namboothiri revolved around Temples, priesthood, secluded cultural and social stigmas carried over through generations, intervention of Yogakshemasabha led by progressive men opened new horizons for the community.
About Attingal Upasabha: Yogakshemasabha Attingal Upasabha was established in 2000 with the register number TVM- 5. After few years of activity, upasabha become inactive at the end of 2007. In 2013, Upasabha was reestablished under the leadership of Dr. Madhavan Namboothiri, Subrahmanian Namboothiri and other active members. Yogakshemasabha Attingal Upasabha won Best Upasabha Award by Thiruvananthapuram District Sabha in 2015. Attingal Upasabha has a supportive and active IT Cell, under youth wing. This Android App was powered by Yogakshemasabha Attingal Yuvajanasabha for updating awareness about our activities.
