Description of DPD

The DPD app lets you arrange the best possible delivery experience. Just tell us how and where to deliver from the range of options available and we’ll do the rest.
Personal delivery preferences - if you’re not going to be in, you can use the DPD app to make sure you can still receive your parcels.
Tell us to deliver straight to your chosen DPD Pickup location or, to your chosen neighbour or safe place.
You select your preferences and we’ll make sure we follow your instructions every time!
30-minute delivery alerts - we don’t want you to wait in all day so with all your DPD deliveries, we’ll let you know in advance when to expect delivery and when we are just 30 minutes away.
Active and previous deliveries - using your DPD app you can see a list of current deliveries and track when your parcels will be with you. When we’ve delivered to your chosen safe place we’ll even send you photos of your parcel in that location for added peace of mind you.
Multiple addresses - set your work, home, or even family member’s address preference, so you can tailor your delivery experience and still get your deliveries, wherever you are in the UK.
Driver tracking - see the name and a picture of your driver or why not track their location and find out where you are in the delivery queue. See your driver's estimated arrival time so you know when to expect your parcel.
In flight options - when we’re on our way to you, if your plans change you can still rearrange your delivery right up until we deliver your parcel. You can instruct our driver to deliver on a different day, to a preferred neighbour, to a safe place or even to one of our 2,500 DPD Pickup shops.
Pickup shops - if you’re collecting your parcel from a nearby DPD Pickup shop, get opening hours, your pickup pass for collection and directions from your delivery address.

  A waste of time, I'm afraid. App failed to track the item at its most important stage - the actual delivery. I thought I was tracking the parcel in real time on the app map, but when it arrived, the app was still saying it was 15 minutes and three deliveries away. Will just have to rely on the one-hour time slot in future, which can be tricky as I have caring responsibilities for a neighbour.

  I've been registered on this DPD app since I downloaded it a few months ago, I've not had any information about all the last 6 deliveries until I open the app, no delivery notifications whatsoever, and today, I have had a missed delivery. Luckily the driver left a card so I checked on the app,,, guess what? No delivery scheduled. I even have "leave in a secure place" on the delivery instructions for all the previous items that I've had delivered, still haven't received any notification from app!

  Terrible when setting up space chose safe place to be used for delivery if not in. Now parcel is going there and can't be delivered to the door unless delivery date is charged. Even though they are yet to receive the parcel. Ridiculous!!! Furious that something so simple can't be amended in the ap or calling the number through the ap. Do not recommend better off just using the website

  I never receive the parcels as stated The app is not working properly Calling through this app is useless also.Had nothing but trouble so far with DPD experience.Now i am told that they have delivered my parcel ( worth hundreds of pounds)to me, when they have not!!! Am going to inform the police. This is one of many bad experiences with this company. Including them not even registering my parcel within the app. No call back when promised. Just one thing after another with these guys. A shambles

  Awful. The app took my money for 2 deliveries, which then disappeared from my profile. The helpdesk said they had no record of them, even though I have printed copies of the QR codes with app reference numbers on them, and told me to email the app email address = no response. I had to send the parcels another way. I've emailed the general customer service address. I'm trying to get a refund but no-one is getting back to me. Avoid.

  Well designed and simple to navigate with a user-friendly interface. DPD deliver essential medical supplies and I've never had cause for concern or complaint. The app provides real-time & precise information about the location of the driver, from depot to delivery, plus I get a heads-up when mine is the next drop. My usual driver is great. I can use the app to compliment him and to rate my delivery experience. Other courier apps I've used are nowhere near as good. DPD's is the gold standard.
