Youth Radio History
A project initiated by the National Network of Youth Associations (RENAJ) and implemented on August 14, 2005 the date he was born to Rádio Jovem whose frequency FM is 102.08Mhz.
Young radio as an information-institution initially started working with only 17 young Guineans between technicians, entertainers and journalists.
With dynamic, the will and effort of the human capital it represented, managed to win the hearts of the target audience (young). Hence, the radio gave an important step in relation to information of topics such as: social, economic, cultural, sports, environmental, etc. All this, in order to give voice and boost youth creativity in society and to the country's welfare. At the time, the radio worked two periods of issue, from 08h00 to 12h00 and from 15h00 to 22h00.
Nevertheless have few means at the time, complied with the rules governing the media. A year later after its creation, although with difficulties, the radio began to operate in a single period of issue, from 08h00 to 00h00. Administered at the time was the president of RENAJ Lourenço Da Silva.

In 2014 Radio Young won the best radio award in Guinea-Bissau by the Government through the Ministry of the media and the Guinean culture.
In relation to the current labor team, the radio has a number of 19 employees active in all so far the title of volunteering.
