• Overview of Hund
• Information about Hund Musuem
• An overview of Gandhara Gallery, Hund Museum
• 10 artefacts selected from the Gandhara Gallery with interpretations in text and audio format.
About the Project
THAAP in collaboration with Institute for Art & Culture (IAC) has developed three Android applications for “Improving the Educational Role of the Hund Museum Project”. The project was initiated and funded by UNESCO and Embassy of Switzerland and Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation in Pakistan.
The three applications designed and developed are as follows:
• Hund Museum Application
• Gandhara Gallery Application
• Hund Museum Game Application
The applications are focused on the visitors to the museum with an emphasis on creating an educational experience especially for children. The applications broadly cover the following:
• Introduction to Hund
• Introduction to the Hund Museum
• An Overview of the Galleries
• Sites around Hund, associated with the Hund Museum
• Interpretation of Artifacts in the Hund museum through Audio/Photographs
• Games designed around the museum artefacts and sites around the Hund Museum to help children learn about the significance of the artefacts and the sites while giving them a fun experience.
