Description of Minimal News Feed Widget

There are many RSS and Atom news readers available for Android.
This app is specifically designed to show feeds as a widget on your home screen.
There are no advertisements, no logins, no accounts, no gimmicks, no user or content tracking, and nothing to see except your news feed content.
With the widget you can select from a few popular sites built-in or add your own Atom or RSS feed URLs.
The widget has some basic visual customization and can show feed content from multiple sources within the same widget.
The widget comes with the following feed sources built-in:
* BBC Front Page
* CNN Top Stories
* Google News (US)
* Hacker News
* New York Times - Technology
* The Onion
This app is open source and hosted on Github.
This allows people to verify there is no spying or other mischievous behavior going on and allow others to make improvements and fix bugs.

    I can highly recommend this app. The widget size is 2x2 so it truly is minimal. Text size and background colour is customizable. You can add any atom/rss feed from your preferred news source. The articles do open and you can read the full versions. EDIT2: Okay so in order to force the newsfeed to refresh you have to scroll down fast for the older articles to load and then new ones will appear as well. So the app does work. 4 stars.
