JPL or Jotun Premier League is a cricket league organized by Jotun powder Coatings for its customers.
Jotun Powder Coatings is one of the leading manufacturers of Powder Coatings in the worlds and supplies to almost all the powder requirements in the region. While members of Jotun sales team are in regular contact with the staff of the customers/ applicators, we at Jotun have been looking for a common platform to expand the relationship not only between Jotun and its customers but also within the powder coating community in general. What could link them better than CRICKET!!! – Yes Cricket – a game everyone is passionate about and is part and parcel of life.
The event was hugely successful from its first year itself with 18 teams participating in the tournament.
In early 2009, when we shared this idea with some of the powder coating companies, the response was very positive. Seeing the interest and the excitement, we started off with friendly matches with some of our valued customers. As the word spread around the other customers also expressed their keenness and we at Jotun organized an industry wide cricket tournament and the “ Jotun Premier League “ was born in October 2009.
