Still yet to be integrated in to Google Assistant. Asking to "play BBC Radio 4 on the BBC" reveals that "the BBC" is still considered to be "BBC iPlayer Radio" app, which no longer exists. BBC Podcasts still not accessible from Google Assistant or Google Speakers. A mess! All this used to work until the BBC broke it all.

Edit 7: October 2020 Come on BBC! Why is there is still an issue with scrolling?! Scrolling up and down a list or schedule often requires 2 or 3 attempts. Come on and fix it. How much money and time without a fix!? (Does the BBC even bother to read these reviews?) Also, when listening to a station, the odds are against it telling you what track is playing. The old app was vastly superior to this downgrade.

The volume of the programmes vary, while some are plenty loud enough to listen to from my phone others are too quiet. The podcasts still load at the top of the list and they play from the top down so if you've downloaded a series you can end up with them playing out of order

So long as I stick to the subscribed section of My Sounds, it is OK. Not good though - the method of choosing a different podcast is awkward. I do NOT want to ever be served a random 'up next' item. I preferred the excellent functional BBC IPlayer Radio

I gave this app a very negative review when it first appeared. However now 18 months on I think it's an excellent app. I listen every day on various platforms to live radio, catch up,music mixes and audiobooks. Great variety of content and there is something new and exciting to listen to all the time.

Better, but still not as good as the excellent BBC Radio iPlayer, which was discontinued. That app had a superior UI, and was quite customisable; this one could do with more of that. The range of BBC content is admirable, of course, though there remains a sense that the BBC continually tries to push its users towards the very content they *don't* want to listen to - it would be interesting to know how that algorithm works!
