Lauana was born in Goiânia and grew up in the municipality of Araguaína , in Tocantins .
At the time, he began performing in bars and performed his first shows. Later, she graduated in Social Communication - Qualification in Advertising. Before becoming a notable performer, Lauana Prado used the stage name Mayara Prado and participated in freshman programs, including The Voice Brazil , being a semi-finalist on the Carlinhos Brown team. The change of its artistic name to the current one was adopted at the suggestion of Fernando Zor, from the duo Fernando & Sorocaba . She also acted as a songwriter, having songs recorded by country artists such as Roberta Miranda , Edson & Hudson and Rionegro & Solimões .
Lauana became noteworthy in 2018 with the song "Guinea Pig", which was attended by the country duo Maiara & Maraísa . The song reached about 10 million views in about two months of release and was part of EP Lauana Prado . The singer then set out to record her first live album, released in December of the same year, with the title Truth , which included the re-recording of "Guinea Pig" and unreleased songs featuring Fernando & Sorocaba and Gabriel.
