GrazeTEN is descended from one of the original RSS readers for Android.

History:
NewsRob, a Google Reader client, was released in 2009.
When Google shut down Reader, NewsRob's code lived on, emerging as GrazeRSS - and importantly, growing the ability to connect to Newsblur, The Old Reader, and Feedly instead of Reader.
As the Android API evolved, GrazeRSS (targeting API 9 - Android 2.4!) started to degrade, and the Play Store wouldn't allow installs of the aging code anymore. Starting around 2017, each new Android release broke the functionality further.
Today:
By the year 2020, RSS was viewed as an old-school, too-open relic of the past. Just a memory from the early Internet ... the old days, when users chose their news sources ... and those sources provided the same news feed to everyone.
To many, RSS was just a rumor ... something only some old Internet hermit knew about.
Of those who heard of RSS, many were still confused. After it all, it was complicated ... you actually had to think about how information gets to you and what you want to believe. Why not have somebody else do that for you?
But a small group of folks still stuck to the RSS religion. This is Graze, their weapon. Not as clumsy or random as social media - an elegant weapon for a more civilized age.
GrazeTEN is the source code of NewsRob / GrazeRSS - refactored to target Android 10 and fix bugs.
