Description of Mausam

MAUSAM is a Mobile App of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Government of India to provide seamless and user-friendly access to weather products available on https://mausam.imd.gov.in/. Users can access observed weather, forecasts, radar images and be proactively warned of impending weather events. The app’s development and deployment is being led jointly by ICRISAT’s Digital Agriculture & Youth (DAY) team and Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) under the Monsoon Mission program of MoES.

  This application is so far been very accurate for me over all the other weather applications. One more thing this app is good is in it's UI though it needs some polishing. But I loved the application overall. Good job Mausam Team

  Though this is a good initiative it still need so much improvements. The app does recognize my location whereas other app has that data. Come on how can that be possible?

  The Location it detects, is totally wrong! I am in Islampur, Uttar Dinajpur District of West Bengal but it detects the location as Purnea District of Bihar! Such a huge error & then how you expect to give accurate weather forecast! Really worthless!👎👎👎

  I give this 5 star because it's indian but this app needs lots of improvement like location problem, graphics, app crashing, add feature of forcast at time to time and also add future temperature & raining % feature at time by time by the way good intentions nice try one day we become aatm nirvhar🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳

  The App fails in showing exact location. It shows "Kochi" a 30 KM away place while my actual location is Vaikom🙆‍♂️ Hw culd the prediction can be true when u've a wrong location?
