  So im not having the same issue as everyone else where it doesn't work sometimes, it always works for me. But whenever i open the app i have to authorize it to log in every single time. Besides that the app works fine.

  The app works 50/50 out of the time. I wish it would work all the time. The main reason why I bought the ac was because it had this app option. Ac works great, app does not very disappointing.

  Can I give zero stars? This app deserves zero stars. I can't setup the ac to the app. What good is a function if it doesn't work? Provided troubleshoot page doesn't help at all. It always gets to 99% of the connection process and then freaks out and says it can't reconnect the phone to wifi. It displays OK and Failed over each other where the status is.

  Downgraded to 1 star, now unit won't turn on with the programmed schedule. Fix your app, it sucks. Buggy, often can't load device or says it's offline. Lags sometimes. The schedule function defaults to eco mode, 80% fan speed, no way to program it others, I have to do it manually every night, otherwise the unit shuts off the fan in the middle of the night, wakes us up.   Eventually added it to my WiFi with a bunch of difficulty because I use a modern Google WiFi hub, where you can't select only 2.4 GHz. (I had to temporarily connect an old router with the same WiFi name to trick Midea into connecting.) Now it works but it regularly (every 2 weeks) disconnects from Google Home, so saying "hey Google, turn off the AC" has a random outcome, so I still have no use for the connectivity feature. Opening this app is about as much work as getting up and walking to it.
