Now Playing Tracker is an app which makes the Now Playing feature more useful.
Now Playing Tracker keeps track of all songs that Now Playing has identified and presents it in a simple, easy to browse way.
You can favorite songs, open songs in a music app of your choice and also export a list of all songs that the app has saved.
You also have the ability to save location to the song when it is identified. When you export the list of songs, you can see where the song was identified.
Location is only asked for when a song is identified, and no battery is used since the phone provides it's most recent location.
You also can clear all songs identified and just keep your favorites.
Location fixes for Android 11
If you have ever granted location permissions, head on to the Permissions setting for the Now Playing app and select Allow All the Time to make sure location works properly.
If you have never granted permissions, launch the app, launch the settings screen and then when prompted, click on Allow All the Time from the dialog box.
