Help - How to use My Vault
My Vault keeps safe and secured all your personal logins and passwords.
All your information is kept locally in your device only and it is encrypted so that even if your device is lost, your data cannot be accessed without your PIN.
Create your own PIN with a combination of numbers and letters. Your PIN must be at least 4 characters long.
You can reset your PIN as often as you like by selecting RESET PIN when you open the application.
When you access the application, you are presented with your list of items sorted in alphabetical order.
To remove an item, simply sweep the item to the left.
To open the website for the item you have created, sweep the item to the right or click on an item that you want to update.
To create an item, click the ADD ITEM button on the main screen.
Site - This is the web site for the login and password that you want to safely keep.
I.E. amazon.com but do not include http://
Click on OPEN SITE to open the site on a web browser.
The account name and password are your personal details for the site or account that you want to store.
Select SAVE to save your item.
You can also enter any additional notes for the item that you are creating such as other account details.
This application does not create or generate passwords and it does not create a backup of the data stored in the local database, hence the security and backup of the data stored is the responsibility of the user.
