Tarot of Thrones is a free app that generates predictions about Game of Thrones season 8.
It can tell more than 800.000 different micro-stories.
We have designed a virtual tarot deck containing several kinds of items:
• 29 Major Arcana (runes loosely based on Futhark, an ancient alphabet used by Germanic peoples)
• 42 characters who are alive (for now…)
• 36 dead characters
• 15 factions and armies
• 5 deities
• 21 locations
• 12 Houses of Westeros
• 16 races of animals and creatures
We like to call Tarot of Thrones a piece of “procedural fanfiction”.
We made it because we love the series, and because we’re better at making apps than writing stories.
Tarot of Thrones is completely free, contains no ads and no incitation to donate anything. We are not trying to make any money out of it.
• We will try to update the app between episodes to keep track of the changes (new characters, alliances, betrayals, and possibly deaths, who knows?)
• As mentioned in the app, we will try to add a few features to the game as soon as we can:
o A browsable list of all the cards
o Unlocking the cards and showing which are new
o And mainly the possibility to pick a card to ensure that it will be in the next prediction (for example, I can choose to have only predictions about Daenerys).
