My i7+ did well mapping downstairs, I perfected the map with names, boundaries, clean zones. However when I took it upstairs it got confused and over-wrote my downstairs map (which had taken a whole day of training!). Developers: online, it says there's an option to LOCK the map and prevent this from happening but i can't seem to find this option, is it no longer available? In the next software update, could you consider making map updates manual and let users choose to "ignore" bad maps please?

Sad You Even Need This App! What a waste of time continually having to reload and reconnect. You would think that a company that makes and sells so many of these robot vacuums could hire programmers who could make an app that works, connects and stays working and connected. At least the vacuum works pretty well but not sure I got my money's worth out of the deal.

My iRobot app updated to this new app and it is horrible! With this new app my roomba schedule no longer works. It has been scheduled to run every morning at 9am but with this new app it keeps running at 3a, waking up everyone. When I try to adjust it the app goes from the "ready to vacuum" message to "the cloud can not talk to roomba. Try again later" every single time. I have tried removing the app and reinstalling it and rebooting my roomba. Neither have worked. I am very disappointed

Have been using the Roomba extensively for the past few days and I really like the app. It could be a little more intuitive about letting you add a second map, instead of forcing you to start it as if it was the old map, letting the Roomba figure it out. I really like the map layout features. The ui is very slow for defining areas on top of rooms, though. Adding and removing dividers often deletes the names when I feel it shouldn't. Otherwise I've had a really great experience with this.

Ruby, that's its name, runs really well when left to it's own devices, but the app - not so good. While Ruby told me that it is connected to my wifi, the app can't seem to marry up with Ruby. It can't seem to locate it. I know it was a long trip to our home via the Amazon delivery person, and Ruby is probably exhausted from the journey, so I'll try again tomorrow. But like the upcoming election, I'm not very hopeful.

It won't stay connected to my vacuum. It will connect briefly or up to a few min. Then it says not connected but shows it's charging or battery life depending on if it's docked. When it shows not connected Alexa is still able to control it so clearly it's connected. It's also not staying connected to the app long enough to load the smart map. I just bought this but looking at the reviews y'all clearly screwed up the app. I have the I6+ from Amazon. Please fix this.
