Thanks to advancements in technology, it is now possible to bring a new part of Star Wars: The Force Awakens™ into your home in an incredibly authentic way. For the first time, a real Droid™ is finally making its way into your world.
BB-8 is playful, personable, and true to the Star Wars™ galaxy. His unique traits begin to shine the second he is awakened. Based on your interactions, BB-8 will show a range of expressions and even perk up when you give voice commands. It’s now possible to explore the galaxy with your own trusty Astromech Droid by your side. BB-8 is more than a toy - it’s your companion.
Rather than using the Force, BB-8 is powered by induction charging and connects via Bluetooth© Smart with your Android device. His tough polycarbonate shell keeps him safe from water and the dark side.
Features include:
DRIVE
Slide your finger on the driving pad to guide your Droid. BB-8 will go wherever you point and hold, and he’ll even react to collisions. If you want to see more of his personality, enter the droid commander, choose an icon, and BB-8 will show off a range of expressions.
PATROL
Tap into Patrol to send BB-8 off on his own. His autonomous behavior allows him to move around, get familiar with your space, and investigate the surroundings. Tap the play button to get BB-8 on the move.
DRAW & DRIVE
Draw & Drive lets you trace a route with your finger in the app for BB-8 to follow in real life.
WATCH WITH ME
The Watch With Me feature allows your Droid to watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story with you. Select this option when BB-8 is in his charging base, start the movie, and watch his reactions along with the film.
HOLOGRAPHIC MESSAGING
No Droid is complete without holographic messaging. Now you can make your own thanks to BB-8. Record a video and BB-8 will transform it into a virtual hologram.

  None of the apps work on my galaxy s20, disappointing for a toy that cost a lot of money. Can't connect and if it does once u take it off the port nothing happens. Don't waste your money 👎👎👎

  Maybe my bb8 was buggy or broken but it only connected to the app while docked if removed it disconnected. Maybe a batter issue. Maybe an app issue however if it was the bb8 the app should include something to read and analyze the battery charge and health of the device like a pair of Bluetooth headphones shows the battery remaining.

  It works now. You just have to wait after it says trouble connecting. Just wait and it will connect

  Fix the app. Its pretty slow, freezes and works when it seems fit.

  He's a lot of fun, but I'm extremely disappointed that only The Force Awakens is available for Watch With Me. Since it was taken out of the other app I don't understand why we can't watch the other movies with BB8 in this app.
