### What is the APP about?
You certainly know the animal voices of monkeys and lions, but do you also know the voices of wild animals as squirrel, hedgehog, elk and grizzly bear? If not, then our APP will change this.
Kids Wildlife Zoo presents fantastic pictures of wild animals in full HD as a close-up. Touching or stroking the animals their natural animal voices sounds embedded in a great jungle sound.
In the learning mode you learn to assign the partly amazing animal voices to the animals. In two Quiz-Modes with different degree of difficulty you can demonstrate whether you could notice them to you. Are curious whether it is possible also to the adults☺.
This APP is for free and advertising-free. So have fun without annoying flashing ads.
### For which age the APP is suitable?
There is not really a minimum age. As soon as you can stroke the animals with your finger in the learning mode you can let sound the animal voices. As soon as you can speak fairly clear or maybe even write, then you can serve both Quiz-Modes by voice or text input. But even older children and adults interested in animals can have pleasure in the animal voices and venture a game. The context-related Wikipedia links of the presented animals invite to extensive expeditions through the animal world in Wikipedia.
## Supported languages: German and English for now
### Which main functions or features are supported?
The APP automatically starts into the game menu (see picture 1). Pushing the 3 buttons with the symbols the following modes are activated and started by stroking the baby elephant. All animals are presented in random order.
+ Learning mode: “Get to know the animals”
By stroking the presented animals their voice sounds and the animal name is given out (see picture 2-6). The aim in this mode is to learn which animal voice belongs to which animal.
+ Quiz mode 1: “Recognize pictures and sounds”
Game on 5 animals (adjustable): By stroking the displayed animal the related animal voice sounds without displaying the animal name. Then you can enter the animal name by voice or keyboard. You get to know whether the input was correct and at the end the result of the game.
+ Quiz-Modus2: „Recognize the animal’s voice“
Game on 5 animals (adjustable): Now it becomes more difficult. It appears only one wildlife picture with a question mark and an animal voice sounds (see picture 7). Then you can enter the animal name by voice or keyboard input. You get to know whether the input was correct and at the end the result of the game.
You can exit every time from all modes by long press down the button with the house symbol.
The Wikipedia entry related to the displayed animal is called by touching the "W" in the left upper corner of each picture.
### Which auxiliary functions are provided by the APP?
In the start page, by long pressing down the button with the 3 dots the settings menu opens (see picture 8) with the following program settings.
+ Number of animals to be presented (lower for simplification)
+ Number of animals per quiz game (3 correct out of 3 is easier than 10 out of 10)
+ Wikipedia link switch off / on (switch off for agile children fingers)
+ Volume of the background sound (ATTENTION: With toddlers only quietly!, too loud sound can also disturb voice input)
+ Voice output switch on/ off (switch off, e. g. if parents would like to say the animal names)
+ Speed of voice output (setting for natural language speed)
+ Choice of voice or keyboard input (voice input presupposes network connection)
+ Change max duration of animal voice(for impatient set shorter)
### Others
+ The best quality of the voice output is achieved by the Google APP “Text-to-speech” (available in the Play store).
