Main features:
1. Home, shows you handset's network status
2. Coverage, shows you the nation-wide signal strength map of the network operator/provider installed in your handset. It allows you see the best/worst places for signal.
3. Signal Map, shows you the nation-wide upload (UL) / download (DL) data rate distribution map of the network operator/provider installed in your handset. It allows you see the best/worst places of mobile data rate for browsing or downloading.
4. Experience Report, facilitates you to inform Kemkominfo each time you get drop call, SMS failure, or any bad network experiences
5. Drivetest, facilitates you to grab signal strength and cell data along a route.
6. Statistic, facilitates you to download your handset data per minute (LAC ID, CID, and Signal Strength) in a duration of last hour, last day, or last week.
Sigmon is developed by Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (Kominfo) Republic of Indonesia which aims to support government improving cellular network in Indonesia.
The data shown in Coverage map and Signal Map map are generated from handsets installing Sigmon. With these data, Kominfo could know the areas which don't get cellular network yet or have a bad quality signal. And also with these data, Kominfo could have the information of UL/DL datarate distribution in Indonesia.
From the complain reports users send with Experience Report menu, Kominfo would analyse the report and escalate it to the respective network operator/provider company.
Overall, the data Kemkominfo gets from Sigmon would be used to support government in making cellular telecommunication policies and regulations.
