San Judas Tadeo, también conocido como Judas Tadeo, es uno de los Santos más recurridos por los fieles.
San Judas Tadeo es uno de los discípulos de Jesús el Nazareno y formó parte del conjunto de los doce apóstoles. Es mencionado en los Evangelios, como uno de los hermanos del propio Jesús. También era conocido simplemente como Judas de Santiago o Tadeo. Era común que el nombre no apareciese únicamente como “Judas” sino como Judas Tadeo, ya que se pretendía hacer una distinción frente a Judas Iscariote, éste último, apóstol que traicionó a Jesús y le entregó.
