My name is Prajakta Salia. I am the founder and sole creating designer at Dearly Beloved. I was born and brought up in Mumbai.
I am married to my childhood sweetheart, I am the mother to a gorgeous daughter who brings endless joy, love and laughter into our lives. she inspired me to start creating these priceless keepsakes in an endeavor to preserve every beautiful moment of her childhood
My Story
I have a bachelor’s degree in Applied Science and I have done my majors in Hospitality Management
I was an Airhostess with a leading international airline and before hanging up my wings I had the privilege of travelling the world, experiencing different cultures, sampling different world cuisines and my favorite part, shopping all over the world all thanks to my job.
This exposure to different cultures and shopping honed my expertise in Avant-garde and lifestyle products.
My daughters birth was an emotionally traumatic experience caused by a nursing staff’s callousness but thankfully my doctor beautifully supported me, this was followed by low milk supply issues followed by bleeding and mashed nipples but I was determined to breastfeed my baby come what may.
These difficulties I faced made me prize and cherish each moment that I was able to breastfeed my baby and made me resolve to preserve these moments of triumph in a tangible way.
Thus was born my passion to create breastmilk and DNA jewellery keepsakes.
