The Islamic Foundation of Ireland app also provides you the option to view today's Hijri date, or convert some of the sections to Arabic. A Qibla direction compass and map is also provided to help you find the direction to pray anywhere you go.

Q: Why am I not getting some notifications?
A: Unfortunately some device manufacturers place restrictions on devices being woken up for notifications in order to save power. The app does all it can to provide the notification but ultimately the device has the final say. The best way for you to get around this is to go to your device's settings and, depending on your device, prevent your device's software from putting the app to sleep.
Q: Why are some notifications late?
A: It is likely that your device has a battery saving feature which delays alarms from going off for certain periods of time. It does this to save power. The best way around this is to give the app a high priority in your device's settings. This will vary from device to device. If you have any questions about your specific device please email the developer at djimani.adlan@gmail.com.
Q: Why am I not receiving any notifications?
A: If you have restarted your device in the mean time then you will have to reopen the app. This app will be updated soon meaning it will not be necessary to restart the app anymore.
