It is an initiation of the Govt. of India to locate the tuberculosis (TB) patients in Sundarban area, West Bengal, India and make arrangements for their treatment. This Project involves the NFHP (Non formal health practitioner) and train them how to detect the TB patient. This Training is provided by the State medical practitioner.If NFHP thinks a patient may have TB (through his training),he asks the patient to go through the few processes, e.g. sputum collection / X-Ray / CBNAAT Test. If the patient is diagnosed with TB, he or she will get all the facilities for treatment.
