TagAnimo, a French augmented book for the children from 4 to 6 years old
The children of nursery school, who begin to recognize the letters of the alphabet, like burying into the illustrated albums but, for a large part of the new generation, the usage of a Smartphone is already a must. While looking at our five-year-old twins, fascinated by animals and in full learning of letters, it came to us the idea to create an educational, playful and interactive book-game based on the augmented reality. A new augmented book born!
Objective of the set :
Find the first letter of the name of every animal, this one appearing in 3D thanks to the augmented reality.
The peculiarity: an interaction perms between the book and the Smartphone application:
Find the animal according to the indications given by the book (questions partially hidden illustrations)
Turn over a page to discover the complete illustration to verify
Scan at the illustration of the book with the camera of the telephone or the tablet to reveal four proposals of letters in 3D in augmented reality.
Move one of the letters in 3D with the finger to obtain a sound answer and reveal the name of the animal (in green if the answer is correct, in orange otherwise)
Return to the book to enhance its knowledge with them " do you know that ? ", then go to the following page
Scan the back page to reach interactive puzzles and memo-test games on the animals of the book.
