In deze app ben jij de directeur van je eigen Romeinen museum. Ga op zoek naar de Romeinse schatten die op de fietsroute te vinden zijn. Een schop is niet nodig. Gebruik de app! Met de schatten die je vindt, kun jij jouw Romeinen museum inrichten! Op de interactieve kaart zie je waar de schatten voor je museum “begraven” liggen.
Deze app maakt onderdeel uit van het Romeinen-project “Luxe achter de Limes” van de gemeenten Wijchen, Nijmegen en Heumen. De Romeinen hebben
in het Rijk van Nijmegen een belangrijke rol gespeeld voor de economische en stedelijke ontwikkeling die onderscheidend is voor Nederland.
Achter de Romeinse rijksgrens, de limes, werd Nijmegen en omgeving het economische centrum van Nederland ten tijde van de Romeinen. Helaas zijn er hier bovengronds weinig Romeinse overblijfselen meer te zien. Daarom werken de drie gemeenten samen aan het verbeelden van de Romeinse geschiedenis door middel van fysieke en digitale visualisaties. Hierdoor worden hun inwoners en bezoekers zich bewust van deze unieke geschiedenis.

In this app you are the director of your own Romans museum. Look for the Roman treasures that can be found on the cycle route. A shovel is not necessary. Use the app! With the treasures that you find, you can decorate your Roman museum! On the interactive map you can see where the treasures for your museum are “buried”.
This app is part of the Romans project "Luxury behind the Limes" of the municipalities of Wijchen, Nijmegen and Heumen. The Romans have
played an important role in the Rijk van Nijmegen for the economic and urban development that is distinctive for the Netherlands.
Behind the Roman border, the limes, Nijmegen and the surrounding area became the economic center of the Netherlands at the time of the Romans. Unfortunately, there are few Roman remains left here above ground. That is why the three municipalities work together to depict Roman history through physical and digital visualisations. This makes their inhabitants and visitors aware of this unique history.
