روى ابن عمر رضي الله تعالى عنهما: أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كان إذا استوى على بعيره خارجاً إلى السفر كبَّرَ (ثلاثاً) ثم قال: {سُبْحانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ * وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ}. اللهم هون علينا سفرنا هذا واطو عنا بعده، اللهم أنت الصاحب في السفر والخليفة في الأهل. اللهم نسألك في سفرنا هذا البر والتقوى ومن العمل ما ترضى.
Narrated by Ibn 'Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to go out on his camel to go out to travel (three times) and then he said: "Glory be to Him. Oh God, we have to travel this Watto us after him, O Allah, you are the companion in the travel and the caliphate in the family. O God, we ask you in this journey of righteousness and piety, and from what you will do.
