M.A.C.K Math Tutorial

MACK is a combination of the researcher’s name which stands for Michelle,
Andrea, Casey, and Kim. MACK is a mobile storytelling application that tells story
like parables and mobile learning for basic arithmetic mathematical operations
specifically on grade one students. The mobile application consists of arithmetic operators like Addition,
Subtraction, Multiplication and Division these operators are the topics available for
the student want to learn. Each topic have a storytelling part, the storytelling part is
where students learn about having different good moral characteristics based on
what story is said. Along the story telling there will be numbers displayed for the
mathematical application. The application also had quizzes at the end of the story for the assessment of
the student to see what he/she had learned during the process. Students are
allowed to review the story and re-answer the questions in their quizzes. The respondents will use our proposed application will be teaching on basic
mathematical operators and good moral lesson about life. It will give question and
answer portion during the story and quizzes at the end of the lesson or story and it
will serve as the research instrument.
