SafeUp es una aplicación que te permite elegir contactos para poder enviarles mensajes (SMS y notificaciones) de emergencia cuando lo necesites y puedas sentirte un poco más seguro. La aplicación utiliza el GPS del celular para incluir tu ubicación en el mensaje, para que tus contactos puedan saber donde te encuentras y puedan ayudarte.
Características principales

- Enviar mensajes/alertas de emergencia presionando un botón SOS.
- Siempre que sea posible, se incluirá tu ubicación en la alerta.
- Seguimiento: establecer un temporizador para que las alertas SOS se envíen automáticamente cuando el tiempo establecido termine. El temporizador se puede cancelar en cualquier momento, confirmando que te encuentras fuera de peligro.
Además, al utilizar esta función, los mensajes SOS se enviarán aún cuando la aplicación se encuentre cerrada.
- Enviar notificaciones además de mensajes SMS. (Nota: para hacer uso de esta función, es necesario que el contacto al que se quiera enviarle notificaciones también cuente con la aplicación. También es necesario contar con conexión a internet al momento de enviar las alertas de emergencia.).
