1. What is the driving license?
The driving license is an official document that is issued by the Government of India. In this, people get permission that they can run their vehicle officially on the road or public road whether it is a car, motorbike, truck, bus or any other vehicle. In India, Driving License is issued by the Regional Transport Authority (RTA) or Regional Transport Office (RTO) of the same state. Under the Motor Vehicles Acts issued in 1988, no citizen can drive on a public road without a driving license. If caught while doing so, it can be both properly fine and punished, so if you have a vehicle, you must also have a driving license!

3. What to do if you lose your driving license?
If you have lost your Driving License then there is no need to panic as you can apply another duplicate instead. For this, you have to follow some instructions. First go to the nearest Police Station where your Driving License is lost! File a Complaint there and confirm that you should have a copy of that complaint (FIR) so that you can use it later! Go to the Notary office of your city and prepare it in an Affidavit Stamped Paper. You may have to charge a bit for this. That Affidavit will act like a Proof in which it will be a notice that your Driving License has indeed been lost!

3. यदि आप अपना ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस खो देते हैं तो क्या करें?
यदि आपने अपना ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस खो दिया है तो घबराने की जरूरत नहीं है क्योंकि आप इसके बजाय एक और डुप्लिकेट लागू कर सकते हैं। इसके लिए आपको कुछ निर्देशों का पालन करना होगा। सबसे पहले नजदीकी पुलिस स्टेशन पर जाएं जहां आपका ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस खो गया है! वहां एक शिकायत दर्ज करें और पुष्टि करें कि आपके पास उस शिकायत (एफआईआर) की एक प्रति होनी चाहिए ताकि आप इसे बाद में उपयोग कर सकें! अपने शहर के नोटरी कार्यालय में जाएं और इसे एक शपथ पत्र मुद्रांकित कागज में तैयार करें। इसके लिए आपको थोड़ा चार्ज करना पड़ सकता है। वह शपथ पत्र एक सबूत की तरह काम करेगा जिसमें यह नोटिस होगा कि आपका ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस वास्तव में खो गया है!
