Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) has inherent provisions for proactive disclosure of information to its citizens in reference to implementation of the MGNREGS. Citizen awareness is a key to efficient, effective and transparent execution of the scheme, while the programme rests on participation principles. Paradigm shift from an employment-oriented to a sustainable and productive livelihood support programme warrants greater public engagement. Mobile phone acts as a mode of communication with people at farther places, with greater ease and lesser time.
Janmanrega is an instrument for information flow to and from ground-level, which will connect citizens with the system. An initiative towards good governance, Janmanrega is an interface to improve quality of public services.
The Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) launched ‘Janmanrega’ – a Citizen-centric Mobile Application (CCMA). This was launched by Hon’ble Minister of Rural Development on 19th of June 2017.
Janmanrega has been developed with collaboration between the MoRD, National Informatics Centre (NIC) and National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC, Hyderabad). Beta Version of this Android Application is now available at Ministry’s MGNREGA Website that will allow locating already geotagged more than 1.78 crore Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme’s (MGNREGS) Assets within Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) Bhuvan Map Interface along with their attributes.
महात्मा गांधी राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण रोजगार गारंटी अधिनियम (एमजीएनआरईजीए) एमजीएनआरईजीएस के कार्यान्वयन के संदर्भ में अपने नागरिकों को सूचना के सक्रिय प्रकटीकरण के लिए निहित प्रावधान हैं। जबकि कार्यक्रम भागीदारी सिद्धांतों पर टिकी हुई है नागरिक जागरूकता, इस योजना के कुशल, प्रभावी और पारदर्शी क्रियान्वयन के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण है। एक रोजगार उन्मुख एक स्थायी और उत्पादक आजीविका सहायता कार्यक्रम वारंट करने के लिए अधिक से अधिक सार्वजनिक सगाई से बदलाव। आगे स्थानों पर लोगों को, अधिक आसानी और कम समय के साथ साथ संचार का एक साधन के रूप में मोबाइल फोन काम करता है।

एक नागरिक-केंद्रित मोबाइल एप्लीकेशन (CCMA) - ग्रामीण विकास मंत्रालय (ग्रामीण विकास मंत्रालय) 'Janmanrega' का शुभारंभ किया। यह ग्रामीण विकास माननीय मंत्री द्वारा जून 2017 की 19 वीं पर शुरू किया गया था।
Janmanrega ग्रामीण विकास मंत्रालय, राष्ट्रीय सूचना विज्ञान केंद्र (एनआईसी) और नेशनल रिमोट सेंसिंग सेंटर (एनआरएससी, हैदराबाद) के बीच सहयोग के साथ विकसित किया गया है। इस Android आवेदन के बीटा संस्करण मंत्रालय के एमजीएनआरईजीए वेबसाइट है कि अनुमति देते हैं पहले से ही एक से अधिक 1.78 करोड़ महात्मा गांधी राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण रोजगार गारंटी योजना के (एमजीएनआरईजीएस) आस्तियों भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन के (इसरो) भुवन मानचित्र इंटरफ़ेस के भीतर के साथ उनकी विशेषताओं के साथ geotagged लगाने जाएगा पर अब उपलब्ध है।
