DCAA IIAN

"The Accident Investigation Section at Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) investigates Accidents & Incidents related to civil aviation within the Emirate of Dubai, this includes investigations of accidents and incidents related to aircraft that may be damaged or destroyed as well as persons affected by such occurrences. These investigations include taking all necessary measures to gather data from various sources, conduct interviews with relevant individuals and prepare reports that contain safety recommendations aiming to improve the safety measures in the aviation safety system. Hence, working towards reducing the potential of reoccurrences in coordination with the General Civil Aviation Authority.
The Integrated Investigation And Notification “IIAN” program aims to organize the accident investigations process and enhance the investigation outcomes to increase the efficiency of safety reports, which in turn will advance the civil aviation safety systems, in line with the future vision of the DCAA in particular and the Dubai Government in general. "
