1. Why is the University of Delaware’s Center for Applied Demography & Survey Research conducting this Research?
The purpose of the Next Generation of Travel Surveys project is to collect location data using a Smart Phone App to supplement the Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) data collection that has been utilized by UD’s Center for Applied Demography & Survey Research (CADSR) for the Delaware Travel Monitoring System (DTMS) for over 20 years. We are interested in all trips you take: walking, riding a bicycle, driving, riding as a passenger, riding public transportation etc.
