- When you travel, or directly when you go out to eat something in your own area, there are usually problems to communicate with the staff of the bars and restaurants to expose your food allergy or intolerance.
- Sometimes, although they may understand you, they do not take the situation as serious as it should be taken, either due to ignorance or pasotism.
- In addition, since 2011 there is a community regulation on consumer information (Regulation number 1169/2011 of the European Parliament) but many bars and restaurants do not apply it and neither do they report allergen products nor do they have taken into account cross-contamination.
- For these reasons and more, in this app we offer you displays in various languages emphasizing the seriousness of your situation. So that neither language nor ignorance are a barrier in bars and restaurants and they can take into consideration your allergy or intolerance and thus be able to travel quietly.
- We also offer you images of your allergies and intolerances, because many times a picture is worth more than a thousand words.
- Finally, we also put at your disposal the regulations that require bars and restaurants to report allergens so that you have it.
