Forza 4 is a piece of abstract table alignment.
It is an alignment clearance (usually on a matrix of 6 rows and 7 columns) that draws the fillet and Tris games, the well-known paper-and-pencil game that is done on squared paper trying to build a continuous series of symbols in a 3 × 3 grid.
Again, the goal is to put in a row (horizontally, vertically or diagonally) a number (four in the base game, and hence its name) of their pieces; but the fundamental element of the game, which makes it entirely original, is the force of gravity: the board is vertically placed between the players, and the pieces are made to fall along a vertical grid, in such a way that a token inserted into a certain column always goes to occupy the free position situated further down the column itself.
The game is also known by the English names Connect 4, Vertical Tic-Tac-Toe, Gravitational Tic-Tac-Toe and 4-in-a-row, and has inspired numerous variants.
