Central Taco is the first U.S. location of the famous Mexican Taqueria El Farolito.
El Farolito has been a staple in Mexico for over 50 years. In 1962 it's founder Don introduced his house specialty “tacos al carbon”. This taco combined finely chopped charcoal-grilled steak with onion, cilantro, and lime juice. With one trademark item El Farolito revolutionized the Mexican taqueria culture by creating Mexico's most popular taco, and they've been at the forefront of how to prepare tacos ever since.
