The Privacy Friendly Torchlight application uses the smartphone’s flash light in order to provide the functionality of a simple torchlight. It belongs to the group of Privacy Friendly Apps.

This permission is required to control the smartphone’s flash light (on/off).
Most of Torchlight Apps in the Google Play Store require additional permissions. E.g. accessing the network or Internet which is mostly used to display advertisement. Some apps have access to GPS or telephony data.
2.
The Privacy Friendly Torchlight App completely relinquishes advertisement. Many other apps in the Google Play Store display advertisement.
