The Cell Biology Study Group and Cardiovascular Genetics of the Portuguese Society of Cardiology decided to meet in the current publishing some of the main indications for genetic studies in cardiology.
The need for disclosure is derived from the exponential scientific knowledge in the field of cardiovascular genetics and availability also increased, laboratories where genetic testing can be performed.
We hope that the current Recommendations Guide is useful to cardiologists and other professionals who deal with genetic / hereditary diseases.
