1. TeSIMS (Technical Services Information Management System) is an app that facilitates submission of feedbacks, which also include compliment and suggestions to the Technical Support team of Faculty of Science and Engineering (FOSE) directly from any android mobile phones.
2. Every feedback matters – This app provide an opportunity for students and staffs of FOSE to contribute to the continuous improvement of the operations of all laboratory within the FOSE. It is hoped that this initiative will increase a student and staff member’s sense of ‘belonging’ when they see their constructive suggestions implemented through this scheme. The suggestions are not limited to the shortcomings of the laboratory operation matters only but also faculty-wide related matters such as facilities betterment, cost efficiency, work environment and general campus well-being, etc.
3. Fast and secure transfer of information – This app has been designed with a simple-to-follow layout and ensure that user do not miss any vital information in the feedback, which will be most helpful and useful for the Technical Support team to respond and take actions according to the FOSE Compliment, Suggestions and Feedback Guideline 2019.
4. Go Green – Reduce printing, save the trees save the planet… by deploying this app, it’s hoped that it can contribute to reducing or even eliminate printing of paper-based feedback form which is currently in practice.
5. Privacy & confidentiality – all feedbacks will treated as private and confidential. Only Technical Support Office managerial team will have the access to the mailbox of for this app. The originator may choose to submit his/her suggestion anonymously, in which case a personal response is not possible.
