SIGA Polytechnic College, It is an unaided Christian minority Institution affiliated to
the Tamil Nadu State Board of Technical Education and is approved by the All India Council for
Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. SIGA was established in 1952, with just 20 students and
a couple of old machines at Basin Bridge in North Chennai.
Sixteen years later, it was shifted to its present campus on Taylors Road in Kilpauk, in 1973,
SIGA received Government recognition and was affiliated to the State Board of Technical Education.
In the year 2003, SIGA received the AICTE approval. Today it is a fully equipped Printing
Institute with the state-of-art technology to meet all the requirements of modern printing industry.
