Los Palmeras are representatives of Santa Fe cumbia, a variant of cumbia originally from the province of Santa Fe. After going through several formations, since 2014 its members are Rubén Deicas (voice), Marcos Camino (accordion, choirs and group leader) , Jorge Omar Grenón (keyboards and guitar), Gustavo Martínez (tumblers and choirs), Darien Grenon (timbaletas and percussion), Silvio Medina (bass and chorus).
They have 45 albums published. In 2017, they recorded a compilation album with the Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra, which includes twenty of their best known songs
