With one quick scan, Init provides clarity about hard-to-understand food and beauty product labels.
The app analyses nutritional values - and equally importantly - which additives & chemicals are contained inside, and how risky they may be for your health.
Each product is given a simple colour code to show its health risks to your body: excellent, good, mediocre, or bad.
You can access a detailed product information page to help you understand the analysis of each health rating.
FOOD PRODUCTS
Unlike the Australian Health Star rating system, which analyses ONLY nutritional values, Init analyses the level of a food's processing and all ingredients, including the presence of artificial additives and whether the product is organic.
COSMETIC PRODUCTS (new feature)
Init assigns health ratings for cosmetic and personal hygiene products based on the chemical composition of these products. The app analyses all of the product's chemicals and ingredients. Every ingredient is assigned a level of risk, based on existing scientific research.
