I have a lot of fabric scraps. I mean, a LOT. I have a hard time throwing them away because there just *might* be a reason to use them. (Same for throwing away old clothing…because I just might find something to turn it into. Ack. Seriously…it’s a problem.) Sometimes I buy the prettiest fabric for a project that I just love…and after using it, I just can’t bare to get rid of the extra scraps. Surely I can find a use for them, right? Or maybe I have some scraps of the perfect hue of blue, that just I might need for an applique of some sort. Who knows — but I better keep it! :)
Something that I love turning old fabric scraps into…..is flowers. Because flowers can be added to anything — shirts, totes, belts, gift wrapping, wreaths, headbands, etc.
So, in case any of you have the same problem of keeping little fabric scraps…..there’s a way to trim down the collection a bit.
