Jisoo joined YG Entertainment as a trainee in July 2011 when he was 16 years old. He trained with YG for about five years and then in August 2016 he became a member of the BLACKPINK band. [2] He also appeared on Epik High's music video "Happen Ending" and Hi Suhyun "I'm Different". On February 1, 2017, SBS announced that Jisoo will be the new MC for Inkigayo on February 5, 2017 to February 4, 2018 along with Got7's Jinyoung and NCT's Doyoung.
